Andy and Elvina's are a cute, stylish couple who had a beautiful and classic wedding. The bride and groom got ready separately, and first saw each other at opposite ends of the aisle on their wedding day (he cried).
After the ceremony, we photographed formals of the immediate families, the four person bridal party, and the couple together. We had ample time for the couples portrait session part of the day, and we were able to deliver a wide variety of images with cityscapes, trees, and interesting architecture.
The reception included a tea ceremony, dancing, and emotional speeches that didn't leave a dry eye in the room.
At the end of the night it was pouring buckets, and I convinced the couple to go outside for one final photo, admitting they would be soaked afterwards. Happily, they agreed and we created one of my favorite images, Andy and Elvina backlit in the rain.
This album is a square album with full page images, one photograph per page. The intent was to show that a beautiful, timeless album can be created without any fancy design work — in another 50 years this album design will still look relevant.
