Melanie and Desyn got married in Rome and spared no expense. Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Magazine did an article on their celebration, highlighting the hard work of the vendors in providing this picture perfect European wedding.
The bride and groom both got ready separately at the St. Regis Rome, a five star hotel between the Piazza di San Bernardo and Piazza della Repubblica in Municipal II of Rome, Italy.
The ceremony took place at Chiesa del Santissimo Nome di Gesù all'Argentina, or Chiesa del Gesu, for short. This lavish church boasts a baroque style facade, introducing this style into architecture and serving as a model for future churches. The nave, crossing, and side chapels are all ornately decorated with paintings, fancy decor, and gold accents, and the couple decorated the pews with flowers.
After the Catholic ceremony, the couple and families took formal photos outside the church, and then we travelled around Rome and to the Vatican for couples portraits.
The reception took place at Villa Miani, a beautiful venue that overlooks Rome and Vatican City. The couple decorated the ballroom with orchids, gold dinnerware, and purple accent lighting, and danced the night away with amazing food, good company, and great photos.
